OFFICIAL ATHLETICS WEBSITE OF MIDDLESEX SCHOOL

We are excited that you are interested in our girls’ soccer program. This program is steeped in tradition and has enjoyed a lot of success during its tenure. At the core of our program is our commitment to the “team concept.” We nurture this concept both on and off the field through coach/player meetings, team breakfasts/dinners, team building exercises, goal planning, and a team oriented style of play. At Middlesex, our goals scored are always “team goals” and not the result of one star player. Therefore we experience both our wins and losses as a team.

Middlesex soccer athletes are gritty, competitive, determined, dedicated, talented, and relentless in their pursuit of success. Our practices incorporate a balance of technical and tactical work and a commitment to fitness. We believe that our games are reflective of how we practice, so we bring a lot of intensity to all of our training sessions. We also balance our hard work with fun team-building traditions and the girls celebrate and enjoy these traditions as a team.

Middlesex Soccer has made multiple post-season New England tournament appearances and were New England champions in 1998 and 2000. Middlesex girls have continued to play at numerous Division I and Division III colleges, including current players at Georgetown, Yale, and MIT. In addition to the varsity team, our soccer program includes a junior varsity and thirds program, both of which play a full and competitive ISL schedule.
